This year, the best-known London wine event, the Decanter World Wine Awards, was held in London for the 19th time. And in 2022, Serbian wines were in abundance: the happy wineries returned home with a total of 9 gold medals, 30 silver and 46 bronze medals.

Around 300 wine experts from around the world, including 60 with Master of Wine and Master Sommelier, were tasked with selecting the best of 18 labels. Serbian wines were awarded by members of the strict jury, such as Breg Prokupac 500 Doja, Prokupac 2017 Doja, Regent Reserve 2018 Aleksandrović, Momentum Cabernet Sauvignon 2018 Veritas, Biser Smederevka Extra Brut 2017 Aleksić, Žuti Cvet Penušavo Tamjanika Aleksić, Amanet Vranac 2016 Aleksić and Rebus Merlot-Cabernet Sauvignon-Probus 2019 Reljić. Matijašević SoviNoa Fume Blanc 2019 pocketed an exceptionally high score of 2018. The silver medal also shines wonderfully, so Severna Morava 2020 Deurić, Tri Morave Reserva 96 Temet and Čukundeda Prokupac 2020 Matijašević are also second place.
