Akaszto wine competition

Csantavéri or Adai can also be the flagship wine of the mountain village of Akásztó this year.

Every year, a wine competition is held in Akasztó, the purpose of which is to choose which will be the flagship wine of the settlement for the following year. More and more people are entering, this year the producers already sent in more than 150 samples. Not all of them are from the surrounding area - this year, for example, excellent wines came from Ada and Csantavér. It may happen that Akasztó's 2023 flagship wine comes from Vojvodina.
