Saint Urban, the patron saint of winemakers and vineyard keepers in the Subotica–Horgoš sands, is honored each year with a vibrant celebration of wine and tradition. At the end of May, the Palić Wine Festivities bring the charming town of Palić to life, offering visitors the chance to savor some of the finest wines from the sandy vineyards, along with a selection of exceptional wines from across Vojvodina. Throughout the day, guests can enjoy tastings at the stalls of local winemakers and their regional peers, explore a variety of authentic local delicacies, and discover unique handmade crafts—creating a true feast for the senses in a festive and welcoming atmosphere.
