The \u201cEduWine\u201d project funded by the Interreg-IPA Hungary-Serbia Cross-Border Cooperation Program was launched in December 2020. The main goal of the project is to strengthen the economic and tourism bases of viticulture and viticulture in the Hungarian-Serbian border region - B\u00e1cs-Kiskun and Csongr\u00e1d-Csan\u00e1d counties, as well as in Vojvodina, and to support the market participation of the actors operating in the viticulture sector.<\/p>

The project is carried out in partnership, the leading partner is the Educons University of Vojvodina (University Educons, Sremska Kamenica), as well as the vocational secondary school "Borislav Mihajlovic - Mihiz" (Srednja stru\u010dna \u0161kola "Borislav Mihajlovi\u0107 Mihiz", Irig), as well as the entire Hungarian-Serbian border region DKMT Duna \u2013 K\u00f6r\u00f6s \u2013 Maros \u2013 Tisza Euroregional Development Agency Nonprofit K\u00f6zhhaszn\u00fa Kft.<\/p>

During the implementation of the project so far, an English-language study entitled \u201cWine-growing areas\u201d was carried out, presenting 6 European wine-producing border regions where cross-border co-operation between wine-growing stakeholders is successful. We can get to know the oenological cooperation of the border wine-producing regions, the experience gained in the field of wine marketing and wine tourism, the good practices and ideas that can be adapted to the Hungarian-Serbian border region. The study also presents the Hungarian and Serbian wine regions from B\u00e1cs-Kiskun and Csongr\u00e1d-Csan\u00e1d counties and Vojvodina, and describes the typical grape varieties and wines.<\/p>

On the website you can read news and articles about the curiosities and current events of the Hungarian-Serbian wine region, and we also constantly offer programs worth visiting and getting to know the tourist and culinary treasures of the Hungarian-Serbian wine region!<\/p>

At the moment, our border region does not have a functional sectoral and strategic planning and management concept in the field of viticulture and wine. In this respect, the project aims to develop an innovative strategic concept called \u201cWine Learning Strategy\u201d that explores the potential of the wine sector at destination level.<\/p>

Among the cross-border grape and wine varieties, the project places special emphasis on the Kadarka grape and wine variety as a possible individual brand building option for the cross-border wine grape variety, in connection with the implementation of the project:<\/p>
